1. Introduction

At Ghazal LLC, operating under the brand alodata, we are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy is designed to help you understand how we collect, use, and store your personal information when you use our services, including our website and eSIM products.

By using alodata services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy and, where applicable, our Terms of Service.

2. Information We Collect

When you purchase something from alodata or use our services, we collect the following information:

  • Personal Information: Your email address, together with your country, language and currency preferences, and your IP address.
  • Account Information: Details such as account creation dates, payment dates, TopUp details, and other relevant account-related data.
  • Service Data: Information related to the level of service you receive, such as network usage, network faults, and other events affecting your service.
  • eSIM Usage Data: Details about the eSIM profiles and mobile data used, which are collected solely for billing purposes. We do not access the content of your mobile data.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your personal data will only be used for specific purposes, in accordance with applicable data protection laws. These purposes include:

  • Managing and helping you manage your account.
  • Contacting you when necessary, including notifying you about any service issues.
  • Securing your account and preventing fraud or other illegal activities.
  • Managing and improving our network and services.
  • Investigating and responding to any complaints or inquiries you make.
  • Informing you about complementary products and services, where you have opted-in during the sign-up process.

4. Data Sharing

We never sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the providers we need in order to operate alodata, and only with what each one requires:

  • eSIM Go — our eSIM provider; provisions and activates the eSIM profile for your order.
  • Stripe — payment processing (see section 8).
  • Postmark — sending transactional email such as order confirmations and QR codes.
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) — delivering push notifications, if you enable them.
  • Cloudflare — website delivery and security, and traffic analytics where you have consented.
  • Google Tag Manager and the analytics/marketing tags it loads — Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and the TikTok, Meta and OpenAI pixels — only where you have given the matching cookie consent (see section 9).
  • Ollama — processes the messages you type into our AI chat assistant. Please do not enter payment or other sensitive details there; the assistant can read only our public plan catalogue, not your account or your orders.

These providers act on our instructions under confidentiality and data protection terms, and may process your data outside your country of residence. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

5. Consent

By providing personal information to complete a transaction, verify your payment details, place an order, or request services, you consent to our collection and use of your data for these purposes. If you wish to withdraw your consent at any time, contact us at esim@alodata.net.

6. Data Retention

We keep your personal information only for as long as we need it:

  • Records the law requires us to keep (e.g. transaction and tax records) are retained for the statutory period — typically up to 7 years.
  • Everything else is kept only while you have an account, and is deleted when you delete your account or ask us to.

7. Security of Your Personal Information

We continually review and improve our security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, accidental loss, or disclosure. When working with third parties (e.g., payment processors), we ensure they have appropriate security measures in place.

8. Payments

All credit/debit card transactions on our platform are processed securely through Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. Your payment information is encrypted during transmission and is not stored by us.

9. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies in two groups. Necessary cookies keep the site working — your session, language, currency and your cookie choice itself — and cannot be switched off. Analytics and marketing cookies are optional and cover the tools listed in section 4.

If you are in the EEA or the UK, nothing optional loads until you accept it. Elsewhere, optional cookies may load by default and you can decline them at any time. In every region you can change or withdraw your choice using the cookie settings link in our footer, and we apply your latest choice each time a page loads.

10. Age of Consent

If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must obtain consent from a parent or guardian to use our services.

11. Updates to Our Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.

12. Your Rights

Under U.S. and international data protection laws, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct, amend, or delete any personal data.
  • Limit the use of your personal information.
